Quality and Traceability

Quality and traceability are two aspects of what we do that are of the utmost importance to us. We want to produce quality livestock, whether that is for breeding stock or to enter the food chain and we can promise complete traceability from birth to plate. We can trace every cut of meat back to it's origin through our records and livestock numbers. 

Part of our regenerative farming pledge is to ensure we are being as environmentally conscious as possible, this means we look at not only our food miles by choosing to support a local organic licensed family run abattoir, but aiming to keep all our livestock homebred where possible. This is important from a sustainability & traceability point of view because it means, less diesel trips to the market where we would not know the history of the animal we are purchasing. Therefore small things such as keeping our cattle & pigs pedigree & homebred optimises full traceability from our fields to your fork.
